You think the FA would favor that with the euros being so close?

I'm not sure, but that is the popular opinion. The FA appointed Stuart Pearce as the interim manager. Rednapp said he hasn't even thought about the job and that he is fully concentrating on Spurs.

That's what they all say. For 6.5m a year I think he will think about it. Hah

Looks like England will have another coach to blame after they fail to live up to their own inflated expectations at Euro 2012.

GGMU!

Suarez is still a little punk.

And my Andy Carroll prediction just keeps getting better.

Hey banman I think it's time you live up to your name and GTFO

I hope Evra kicked his arse at halftime. Ian Darke said there was an altercation in the tunnel at halftime.

Does anyone get the FoxSoccer package thru Direct TV?

Am thinking about getting it, but only if the games are broadcast in HD..Thanks in advance for any input.

if Van Persie doesn't get his foot on something in the first 10 min of the 2nd half this game will get bad. Arsenal are playing horrible.

I think many are quick to forget that Arsenal have dealt with a good number of injuries this season. I agree with you, though.

Yep, Wilshere being out all season has killed them, the back 4 has been a revolving door of injuries all season and not to mention, Arshavin has completely fallen off. I have no idea what happened to him.

At least the stinker today wasn't a league game.

To be honest, Wenger started a side that was surely going to fail. He did not intend on winning this game, but just wanted to hopefully draw or limit the damage. Everyone knows we would attack all day if we spread them, but he had no interest. Whether it is because he is focused on the PL or not is debatable.

His transfer philosophy is the only thing that hurts him at this point. Everyone is getting hot about him not starting the Ox, but the main thing is he doesn't want to overplay him like he did Wilshere last season. The last thing we need at this point are more injuries, and the likelihood that we would actually win the CL are slim-to-none anyways.

I think Wenger should stay, but the owner needs to grow a pair and force some moves. Djourou needs to play in the Swiss league, at best. Gibbs is a back up, at best. Song only shows up half of the time because he has no real competition (insert M'Vila), and given that Van Persie WILL leave this summer you have to move for Benzema or someone of equal value.
