Looks like the run for the mighty American is over. Tottenham signed Hugo Lloris from Lyon. Pretty psyched

I would be if I were you. Seems like a major upgrade from the ancient Friedel. Honestly I can't believe he was still starting for an EPL team. He hasn't even been on the US team for almost 10 years.
 
He looked great against West Brom, but had some issues in the season opener at St. James Park. He's just getting to that age where the games where the old legs catch up happen more and more frequently, even though he looked a sprite 35 against West Brom. Better to get it handled this season though, Lloris was outstanding in the Euros.

I don't know much about him, cause I never watch Ligue 1 and only caught a little of France playing in the Euros, but I know he's the 3rd highest rated keeper on FIFA 12, behind only Neuer and Cech, so he's got to be pretty good. :)
 
Arsenal has pulled Schalke and Olympiacos so far. I can't complain at all about that one. Just need to dodge Dortmund.
