Crap Saturday morning epl came on at frickin 7 o'clock??

Yep, you missed a sorry showing by West Ham. At one point near the end of the game they said that Swansea had had 71% possession in the 2nd half. That's Barca/Spain levels of possession. Even still the game could have been 1-0 if not for West Ham basically scoring two OG's in the first half.

Sounds like I missed a real snoozer.

I was actually pretty impressed by Swansea. They're probably going to get off to a hot start this year. They've already got 6 points and don't have to play any of the big name teams for another month of two. +8 on damn after two games isn't to shabby either.

Wasted brilliant performances by friedel and BAE. I expect vdv to be on the move, probably to hamburg, still need to move on another striker. Fingers crossed for dempsey

If Man City would have crashed the net when Tevez put the ball on the frame of goal, it would be a tie game right now.

Modric to Real Madrid finally officially official, some reports saying a fee was paid to the tune of 33 million quid. If so, color me impressed.

Reports ALSO saying Spurs submitted a bid to snatch up M'Vila from Rennes, leading me to wonder "wtf"

I think so too, but there's still a logjam with holding mids, and attacking for that matter if Van der Vaart doesn't get moved. I can understand looking at a #10 as VdV doesn't really fit what AVB does, but for holding, we've already got Sandro, Livermore and Scott Parker if he gets healthy. Should be more than enough.

Javi Martinez passes his medical. Looks like this thing is finally going to happen. He should make a great pairing with Schweinsteiger.
