Liverpool had been playing in a manner since the opener that showed a day like today was coming shortly.

yea, some upsets this weekend. The pool loses, chelsea loses to crystal palace, and the swans beat manu

as it stands 4 weeks in, I'd definately pick man city to win the league this year. But I think chelsea and even maybe arsenal/manu improve a bit

I think/hope Chelsea get it done during the transfer window. Pedro was a huge get and there have been some other nice additions. Mourinho knows what he is doing. I think he made a statement to some veterans in the CP loss.

I hope so. We have looked like complete crap. We need Oscar back.

Got my USA vs Peru tickets yesterday. Headed to DC with the lady for the game. Should be fun, especially since she's Peruvian.

didn't get to watch the game, but not surprised the gunners lose...

this man city game is really entertaining with them trying to get back level with west ham

If you watched the game you would wish the worst for Diego Costa for the rest of his career. He had absolutely no contribution to the game other than being a cheat. I have never felt this way towards anyone, not even Joey Barton, but he doesn't deserve to play the game.

I am also a volsenal.

Liverpool is currently tied with Carlisle Freaking United going into extra time. I don't care if they win or not, Rodgers needs to be gone, now.

Messi out 7-8 weeks. Barca has serious depth issues now; the transfer ban certainly achieved its desired punitive effect.
