Yeah, have actually found myself pulling for the O's a bit here recently. Started watching them just because it was on, now have gotten a bit more into it. Can't get into a random nats game though

I don't really want to like Chip much, but every time he does that it's a direct line to 12 year old Verc listening to the Braves on a crappy Lenoir City radio station in 1982. I'll be sad when he leaves.

Yeah, have actually found myself pulling for the O's a bit here recently. Started watching them just because it was on, now have gotten a bit more into it. Can't get into a random nats game though

I'm the same, O's are my AL team. I love Crush and Adam Jones.

I don't get the incredible dislike. He can be annoying but I usually feel him and Joe are a decent listen. I do miss Sciambi and Smtz though.

Harry was one of a kind. Skip was one of a (completely different) kind. Chip is just mostly a generic TV announcer type. Maybe he'd be a lot better with the informality of radio? I dunno, he just sort of sucks in the same way that Kenny Albert (Marv Albert's kid) sucks. Dad was a character; son is a guy who obviously went to broadcasting school.

I don't hate him like lots of guys do. I just think he's usually sort of generically lame. Even at home, I still consume most of my Braves audio over the radio.
