It's sooooooooooooo sad that our fans are doing the same exact thing in 2010 with Oregon, even with that curb stomping in 2010 still there.

High School recruiting rankings never lie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Conveinently disregarding coaching and attrition

Yeah, I think so. His family lives down that way. Mrs Verc's brother lives at the frigging Governor's Club.

Very good chance they know each other..

Just drove by the Governor's Club Sunday afternoon, he must doing reallyyyy well, that place is as blue blood as you'll find around Nashville (for the most part anyhow).

He does live in one of the crappiest houses in the Governor's Club, but that still means it's two or three times bigger than my house. He has whole rooms which he paid to have professionally decorated and which, as far as I can tell, no one ever enters or uses at all. They have a set of copper pans hanging in the kitchen which probably cost over $3000 and which I would kill to cook with, but which they apparently just use as a prop; they've never been used. They have two comfortable rooms full of their old furniture, and that's where they spend most of their time; the rest of the house is like a Potemkin village. A whole neighborhood full of giant fake houses like that is such a silly waste.

Sounds spot on, everything in the GC is about show, and not practicality. I would like to hope that if I ever have that kind of coin I will be much more resourceful and a lot less dickish than the majority in that particular nook of Brentwood.

Your thoughts on this are irreleva...

Ahhhhh nevermind.

:hi:

Damn those people and their success!

What? It's not wealth I'm sneering at. It's two people living in a 20-room house, spending probably $100,000 to furnish for rooms they never go in. There's a music room and nobody plays the piano. There's some kind of a fake smoking lounge thing, with a bunch of unused fishing paraphernalia hanging on the wall; but he smokes out on the deck just like the unwashed masses do. I don't begrudge anyone being rich and living richly; I just think it's ridiculous to spend probably a million dollars erecting what amounts to a cardboard standup version of the Rockefellers' or the Vanderbilts' lives out in front of your own regular life to impress the neighbors. That's about all my brother in law's house is, and I would bet that's what a lot of the houses in places like the Governor's Club are.

Minor is having his next start skipped... Maholm taking his place, with Mike coming back next Tuesday.

My reaction as well. Looks like they don't wanna call it a six man, but they will be skipping guys at different times. I guess they had to do something with Meholm until the roster expands.

I think the problem is most of these people claiming "upset" have never sat down and actually watched Oregon play; especially at home.

Hey, you guys remember when Freddie Freeman was a tier below Eric Hosmer and Brandon Belt?

Hosmer: .272/.326/.422 0.8 WAR
Belt: .264/.345/.440 4.9 WAR
Freeman: .280/.353/.457 5.3 WAR
