He's still got 24 4th quarter comebacks in his career. Tied for 11th all time. In only 9 seasons. Yes, a good defense keeps them in striking range, but he still makes the plays he needs to make.

Arbitrary number. If you are down 3 and score a TD in the first play on the 4th, that is considered a comeback.
 
"Clutch" is a myth. There are guys who choke in the big moment, yes. There is nobody who actually gets better. Anyone who thinks differently needs to look up Derek Jeter's career stats in the ALCS.

Eli has spent his whole career playing on teams with good to great defenses. His job has never been any more than "deliver the ball and don't fsck it up." He's no more some cold-blooded assassin than Joe Flacco is.

Using your logic there are really no good players. All are simply a product of the team around them right?
