Agree with verc.

However- beating the dodgers isn't near the upset, if it's even an upset at all.

However part two- beating Georgia wouldn't really mean anything other than a party filled night. We'll still get blasted by bama, lose to South Carolina, and probably have to fight to the bitter end to squeak out six.

Beating UGA would be a big deal for Jones as far as holding the recruiting class together. Even one win like that would be significant for this program. There's no real difference to the Braves going forward between getting swept in the first round or losing the World Series 1991-style.

Saban lost to UAB in his first year at LSU and to ULM at Bama. But Saban also beat #7 Michigan in his first year at MSU, #11 UT/#13 Miss State/#15 Ga Tech in his first year at LSU, and #16 Arkansas/#20 UT in his first year at Bama.

I'm not comparing Butch to Saban, but with the way we looked against WKU and USA, it would go a long way to compete against one of the top teams.

I'd take beating UGA. But I'm leaning towards putting my emergency funds on the UGA -10.5 line.

My brother just called me. He's leaving for basic Oct 13, so he got us tickets to go the playoff game Friday before he leaves! My boss is gonna be mad I'm calling out, but don't care. I've got a great lil bro
