O rly? Based on batting average?
Why don't you have Yadier Molina in the 3 spot?
Slash lines for the NL
Phillips: .266/.320/.413
Beltran: .303/.346/.533
Molina: .341/.386/.489
Tulo: .332/.400/.608
Votto: .318/.434/.516
Gonzalez: .302/.370/.610
Goldschmidt: .315/.395/.557
Wright: .304/.396/.507
Harper: .264/.371/.522
Phillips can ball, but he shouldn't be in the top five batting order, despite my 30 seconds of idiocy of putting him leadoff.

Listen, I understand the slash lines and power numbers are not in his favor. However, scoring and driving in runs is the name of the correct?
I'm guessing Pedroia has better slash lines than Phillips due to his higher average but he hits almost 100 points less than BP with RISP.
I value getting on base because that's a better predictor than RISP. RISP has shown to fluctuate year to year. For example:
Phillips with RISP in 2013: .404
Phillips with RISP in 2012: .305
Phillips' has definitely been awesome with men on this year.........but bassed on his around .300 career average, he's been fluky this year, just like he's been fluky with a .200 average with nobody on this year.
Do you feel the same away about Chris Davis' power numbers?
