Whit (SSS) has a .402 OBP so far in Atlanta. We will see what happens in 3 weeks if Ozzie is ready but at the moment absolutely

The bigger concern I have is whether the Braves are gonna swallow their pride and play Laureano over Kelenic. I don’t like basing stuff on 115 PA’s, especially when Laureano has not been consistently good in a couple years. But it’s clear he’s better than Kelenic right now (you take out Kelenic’s June and it’s Arcia level offense) and the Braves need every ounce of offense they can muster

Ozzie broke his wrist. It’s not like he’s recovering from a calf strain. Theres medical clearance and then there’s actually being useful. It’s really hard to return from hand/wrist injuries in season without a major power zap. Combine that with the mush baseballs and I would significantly lower any expectations of Ozzie or Riley helping for the remainder of 2024.
