10 point top 25 road win in the SEC. Good sign for the program I’m happy we won but frustrated with the offense lol
Bout the only way to look at it. It’s really hard to win on the road in this conference unless you’re playing Vandy. And our tackles are hurt which made for an eyesore on offense. 4-0 is 4-0.

Meanwhile, this happened, and appears Colorado is about to win in OT.

The last play is under review but fans have rushed the field and they already took down the goalposts.

- OU fans are extremely friendly and hospitable. Maybe the friendliest I’ve met. I think some of that had to do with the fact they fully expected to get beat, but still. They were stunned by how many people we brought and cracked jokes about how many orange opponents they have (Texas, Ok St). They hate Texas, but Texas isn’t in their heads to anywhere near the same degree as it is with A&M fans, and they aren’t weird like A&M.

- Auburn is a good comp for Norman as a town. Norman is larger and closer to a major city than Auburn, but walking around the campus, tailgate scene, etc, brings big Auburn vibes.

- I think their fans are more proud of their 7 Heismans than their 7 national titles. The statues of the 7 winners outside the stadium is neat.

- When loud, it’s definitely an upper tier SEC environment. It isn’t as loud as Neyland or Baton Rouge, but it’s loud. I think they’ll be a good fit in the SEC.

Have never wanted a game for someone else more than I’ve wanted it for myself until yesterday. Happy for that dude. The only thing that could’ve made it better was our tackles being healthy so we could hang 50 before Bru plants our flag at midfield ala Baker.
we were never hanging 50.

Josh loves Venables and the fans too much to do that. I’ll say this, Sooners defense was pretty darn good too. But we could’ve put up 40 to 50.
