Set out on the dress rehearsal..reached down for a gel after mile 3… no gels @GreatWhiteNorth

Forgot my gels for an 18 miler. Grinded through about 13.5 on salt water alone and shut it down. About 3 min into my cool down walk, battling cramps, a guy runs by me. Looks me dead in the eyes and says YOU GOT IT BROTHER. Ran 4 more miles on YOU GOT IT BROTHER

He brought this up in a Congressional hearing about one aspect of that case, so my guess is a lot. It could be a trial balloon for a "I didn't mean to steal money; I have Parkinson's" defense.
