The Atlanta Braves Thread

While the Dodgers have not been perfect in building a baseball team and their budget protects some of their mistakes, they’ve always always always valued depth and giving their regular guys days off. We don’t do that

Okay with Acuna, Austin, and Strider all being out most of the year lets take Freddie, Ohtani, and Beuhler from their roster and see how they do. Would love to put your theory to test with those subtractions…look guys im not an AA apologist but your arguments are very subpar…

Huh?
LA has those guys because they are without their starters. That's his whole point, they replaced starters with MLB level depth. We were rolling out AAA players.

How? If Freddie wanted to stay in Atlanta he would have, he wanted to be in California. The fact there is still a small portion of our fanbase that can’t fathom this is still baffling
The Braves don't sign top tier free agents. They weren't signing Freddie once he hit the open market. They aren't signing Fried. They are who they are. Don't blame it on Freddie.

His head would be on a pike because of the playoff performance the last couple of years + how they played this year (injuries notwithstanding), regardless of whether they kept Freddie and others or not.
