LA has those guys because they are without their starters. That's his whole point, they replaced starters with MLB level depth. We were rolling out AAA players.

The Braves don't sign top tier free agents. They weren't signing Freddie once he hit the open market. They aren't signing Fried. They are who they are. Don't blame it on Freddie.

His head would be on a pike because of the playoff performance the last couple of years + how they played this year (injuries notwithstanding), regardless of whether they kept Freddie and others or not.

Look at the bolded part of your quote…that’s where you lost me. We had way too many substantial injuries that would have killed any team including the Dodgers to not take that under consideration.

Kershaw, Gonsolin, Stone, Ohtani in the rotation, Grove, Glasnow.
Then they added Edman and platoon him based on matchups.
