The Atlanta Braves Thread

Was trying to talk myself into Indiana being in the CFP then I looked at their schedule… it’s weaker than well water. If they don’t beat tOSU next week there is absolutely no way you can justify them being in.
Whole conference is weak. Easy to have 4 top 5 when they are all 20 point favorites every game

It is a good story, but my goodness, their schedule is softer than my 7 month old's poop. They've beaten just one team with a winning record (5-4 Nebraska). They somehow escaped playing Oregon and Penn St, but also avoided Iowa or Minnesota (who aren't great either but at least have winning records).

Even if they lose a really close game to Ohio St, there's no way they should get in unless they automatically qualify.

They're not the only one, but this is a correct take.

Penn St schedule is just as bad. Their best win is Illinois.

I like to hate on ND, but they are probably in the top half of the field.
Their loss is horrible, but they've got 2 solid wins and have destroyed bad teams like a good team should.

My entire college football watching life, which is greater than 20 years, I was told head to head trumped all. No matter what happened, if you played against each other and one team won, the team that won (assuming same record) would be ranked higher than the team they beat.

Except for some reason college football heads think Alabama should be ranked above us

You see how he dodges the question in the answer.

He is projecting the rest of the season

ie a loss to Georgia

I'm not a "Talking Head doesn't like us guy," but I think Bud Elliott has something against Tennessee. I don't think I've ever heard him say a positive thing about any Tennessee team or player. When we were bad he was always real quick to point out that we're bad, and now that we're better/good it is like it pains him to say anything good about us. Which is interesting, because I do enjoy hearing his takes about the sport generally speaking.
