I also have no idea who bud elliot is or what he does but I’m pretty confident he doesn’t have Jack **** to do with who does and does not make the playoff and, as always, people shouldn’t care about sports media opinions anymore than they care about people opinions at the bar or online

The loss to Arky is obviously the biggest negative on our resume, but I also hate it that NC State and OU were "supposed" to be good wins, at the very least. Not only are they not good wins you could make a case that the narrow win over OU actually looks bad at this point. They absolutely suck. I think we kind of knew when the season started that narrow home wins over UF and UK wouldn't be impressive, and that has held true, but a 10 point win on the road against OU was supposed to be good, but it hasn't held true. To put it mildly.

OU not even being an 8-4/9-3 team truly sucks. That should have been a top 25 win and it's not. Alabama win is nice, but after that the overall resume is weak. An OT win against Florida doesn't help.

Yep. I didn't think they'd be a double-digit win team or anything, but was thinking 8-4/9-3, and that coupled with the fact that it was on the road would make it at least a "nice" win. Instead they are just awful. They are a Peyton Thorne INT away from being 4-7 and 0-6 in SEC play.

If we miss the playoff Arky is what people will remember, and rightly so, but we did have what appeared to be a pretty stiff schedule at the beginning of the season that has turned out not to really be.
