The Bama freshman from Tennessee

As someone who has followed Vol Nation for years and years but very rarely post, can someone help me understand why there seems to be a desire to be rude like New Yorkers. From Chatt I just didn’t grow up that way. What am I missing? Be as blunt as you want. I’m just curious…

Exactly... There always has to be a few on every board. Some people don't visit or post as much to see EVERY previous post. God forbid.

Well, as a native New Yorker (although from upstate, which is not the city) and someone who prides themself on being polite to others (I do greatly appreciate that aspect of living in Knoxville), I'll push back a bit in the stereotype.

Listen, the OP has been around and seen things and doesn't deserve or need a correction on board etiquette. It was an honest question from a loyal and solid board member and it called for a simple, honest, quick, answer, not a self-absorbed scold on the search function. Why bother posting if that's all you've got? So, I 100% agree with cincivol, except for the "New Yorker" part as I'm also a native New Yorker who also wants to push back a bit on the stereotype. Peace, ya'll! GBO!

Rick Barnes reels in Tyreke Key to "cure our scoring problem" while Nate Oats reels in Brandon Miller.
I'd gladly swap Key for Miller.

I agree and don’t understand it either. Everyone doesn’t use the search engine or skim through every thread.

There are some good people on here that I enjoy discussing Vol sports. The folks in the baseball forum have been very inviting as I began watching college baseball three yrs ago. They are cool
fans and I actually met some in Hoover.

But the other forums can be rough from time to time with sarcasm and rude comments.

I agree 100%. I don’t ever recall the OP being rude to others and I’ve been around for numerous yrs.

LoL, two completely different situations. Miller was never going anywhere but Bama.

Frankly, I expected a better trolling effort from you.

How did we lose out on him ?

Jesus, how many Brandon Miller threads do we have to start on this board? Every time Alabama plays a game, someone starts a thread. “Why that Bammer feller from Tennessee ain’t come to UT?” Every. Damn. Game.

HE’S A BAMA LEGACY. HE WAS ALWAYS GOING TO ALABAMA. Guess what? That will still be the case after Alabama’s next game. Pin it at the top of the board. Better yet, maybe we should have a separate board dedicated to this topic alone.
