As someone who has followed Vol Nation for years and years but very rarely post, can someone help me understand why there seems to be a desire to be rude like New Yorkers. From Chatt I just didn’t grow up that way. What am I missing? Be as blunt as you want. I’m just curious…
Not sure about that player but OP has point about recruiting. We are getting great classes from a "Star" perspective but it is clear these players are not great shooters and can't move the ball around well enough to score and make an impact.
I think 3-4 of our players are 5* but they don't look like. JJJ is a classic example. When I think of how a 5* should look, I think of a Grant Williams, Kevin Durant, etc. type player.
Grant wasn’t a 5 star looked like one but wasn’t. It happens where 3 or 4 stars play like a 5 star. On the opposite side of that some 5 stars play like a 4 star or God forbid a 3 star. It happens.
Grant Williams was a 3* but played like a 5*. Chris Lofton was like that as well. It seems like our lower rated classes have been stronger.

JMO, I do believe if this murder happened at UT, under the current administration. The player and all involved would be suspended until there was a formal hearing. There are some SEC teams that I think would not suspend a player, even before a formal hearing. First 2 that pop into my mind are Auburn and Alabama that's just how they roll, there may be other institutions that go this route. To me it's not the Institution but who the administration is or whoever is controlling the program. Ultimately, it's a bad look on the University unless you keep winning then all will be forgiven or swept under the rug. If you go on a losing streak the pitchforks will come out. Miller protected them with 40+ points but team struggling vs the last place team in the conference, gives cause for pause. JMO.
