The best thing about winning, we don't have the same 7-8 posters running around 5 different threads repeating themselves over and over. I'll be critical when it's deserved and I'll praise when it's deserved. But some people are unbearable, it's nice to not have to hear it today.
The difference between yesterday and today, in every aspect was ridiculous.
Yesterday: no spacing, poor substitutions, walk it up and run the shot clock, no energy or fire, poor defensive rotation and effort.
Today: great spacing, shortened and better rotation, push the pace get out in transition and attack early, lots of energy and fire, defense good switches rotation and effort.
Hopefully Zo sticks with today's game plan, we have the athletes to play that way, and they obviously enjoy it. Which is why the effort was there today. IMO
One question, why does Zo hate Armani?
10. The goal was two wins.
Go Vols!!! :hi:

Two wins was whose goal? As a fan, it wasn't mine. Are you saying the team's goal going into the tournament was to win two games? In that case, Cuonzo needs to instill an attitude adjustment. Any team should enter any tournament with the goal of winning the whole enchilada.
I have to agree with you. I can't believe Gonzos goal was to win 2 games. If that was his goal then he should be shown the door. It's pretty clear he isn't the brightest guy on the court but surely he did not go into this tourney saying we just want to win 2 games.
The goal for most of the posters around here was at least 2 wins. Not in this way but getting to the championship and playing from there. We didn't get there still have a chance to get two decent wins and come back 5-2 with the time to rest until the next home game.
No one ever said it was Martin's goal. 2-1 was simply most posters' expectations. It don't matter what the goal for most posters were or are. It's hard for me to buy that was Martins goal. If that is the case my goal was for them to go win the whole tourney. Not to show up and try to finish 5th or 6th.
