It's OK. I asked for it.

T-Kook has kind of appointed himself Thread Grand Inquisitar....pay sucks but it's the kind of title that gets him action...from some of the chicks that usually correspond with condemned prisoners. :glare:

Worley will start. Dobbs looked good but it was against second team. There's huge drop off with second team. I think Ferguson still will be no. 2. But either way. I don't care who starts as long as we win.

NOTHING was decided yesterday...O&W game lore is besotted with legendary breakout players (Moses Collins) who take the spring game and get our future projection scopes all out of whack :scare:

Yadayadaya...they host a show on TSR or sell that "security in knowing your loved ones will be cared for...when you are no longer...anymore".

Ive liked dobbs from the start, but I have never tried to force him into a starting role like many have for Riley. I find it very funny that because Riley did poor and Dobbs did great that the Riley supporters are on here saying its only one game or its just a spring game. When actually if he had showed out today they would be crowning him the savior of our football team.
All the qbs had moments that wowed but the two that were most consistent were Worley and Dobbs. Does that mean I think fergy is out of the starting race? Heck no! I just think it shows that he's not as ready as everyone thinks he is and that Dobbs isn't as far back as some of the Riley supporters think.
May the best man win GBO!

Reading and hearing from people at the game Fergie will be watching people play in front of him. Just not ready for prime time, you cant throw a pick and lose a fumble when your primary same class competition tosses 3 TDs and runs for 1. The lights went on ... the kid wilted a little, just needs more time, will probably be a huge play maker for us in the future.

Sounds like we are in trouble, again, at QB.

Plus look at the Defence they were playing no wonder we are a early -3 dog in Vegas early betting line to UTAH STATE, did anyone on here every think we would be a 3 point dog on opening game of the season against a team named Utah State, that shows we are very young and have a problem at QB, we got a long way to go. but we will get there, we got to hang tough this year and don't get to down and out and pull a top 10 recruiting class, then we will be all right.

Dobbs was the best. Then Worley,Ferguson and Peterman.

Look at the stats they are 1a 1b, Dobbs not going to run 70 yard TD on a fumble against a SEC D, he did some good things seems like he had a little more zip on the ball, plus he has more speed than the other QBs, I am just hoping one of them just take a big step up during the summer.

He had a 40 something yard touchdown run against Kentucky if I'm not mistaken.

What about the muffed snap that Dobbs pick up and ultimately ran for 60 yards for a TD? Not saying he could do that against Bama, but he looked pretty comfortable doing it.

Worley also had some good throws - clean, crisp and on target.

Fergy / Peterman are clearly 3rd and 4th string.

I thought Ferguson has the best arm. Looks more natural and let us not forget that that is his first live action. Dobbs got game experience last year. Fergie looked pretty good and he made good decisions at times. He was the only qb that checked down to a back (27 yard completion to Hurd). That drive lead to a touchdown by Hurd. I mean 7-12 is not a bad line. He made one poor throw with the pic.

No brainer. Worley will start. He has the demeanor of a veteran. He is throwing the long ball better as Butch has said all spring. Dobbs had a coming out day but he had Malone to throw to. Riley did not have Malone or North. So there are still questions. My off the wall takeway is how Butch can somewhat rig the outcomes by supporting staff on offense and tampering with defense platoons or match ups.
