I heard somebody on the staff say Brett Favre. Can't remember if it was on the radio, at a picnic in Nashville, or comin' out of a steak house. Totally makes sense. Brett knows he can't cut it for an entire season with the Vikings, but he's really tired of playin' with the highschool kids in Mississippi. I have a sister working in the clearinghouse, apparently Coach O has found a loophole that will allow Brett one more year of eligibility. Honestly, there may not be a bigger fish out there. Just sayin...

That's why it would be new news and a surprise "big fish" commitment, because we offered and he accepted. Mere speculation but he would be a transfer and a top catch. He would help attract recruits. I am not personally sold on Newton but I do think he has WAY more potential than the QB choices we have left including Bray, Brunetti, Rettig, etc. He is an athletic freak of nature, he just has to learn the game. He could be the next Jamarcus Russell or the next Ryan Perrilloux. He is worth the risk.

I vote for Dayne Crist also..biggest fish out there..HS @ Sherman Oaks with Clausen. Rivals article likened him to Labron. Wants to be the next Tom Brady,,but article this spring Charlie W said it was Jimmys Clausen's job to lose. It would he hard to prepare for the next level being 2nd string QD, but then again that's what TB did..WHO KNOWS, but he would be a BIG FISH

well i guess he could be worth the risk but i still think that its gonna be someone alot better i dont think he would really help alot tho

thats what i think to but kiffin said that we will love him but ive never heard of this guy untill now but i looked at his rivals profile he looks pretty good

It can't be a transfer that is playing for someone currently such as Crist, Barkley, Corp, etc. That would be a major violation if our staff had any contact at all, even 2nd hand. There is no way they would let that information out to anyone. Mark everyone off the list that is currently at another Div. 1 school.

He chose Ole Miss after he was released from Texas, they did not recruit him or have any contact until that release. None of the QB's being speculated about have asked for a release because it would be in the news.

You are the one that is wrong and have been in about 20 posts in this thread. Give it up, you have no idea.
