Meline is a S and I can't see getting Shaw. Reese is a possibility. I think we land Milton and one other guy in addition to Ambles. Green will be coming in next year in all likelihood. If there is another WR that wants to come here, we will take 4.
I keep forgetting UGA is almost full. That is certainly going to impact the landscape. Blake Sims is going to be a DB IMO. He hasn't done anything at WR at camps to impress. I think he starts his career out in the defensive backfield.I know he tried to tell teams he wanted to play S but I thought everybody was like" well, thats cool Ted, you'll be a WR here though."
I just threw Shaw's name out there cuz I know we are recruiting him as hard as anyone. But Jose could help draw Reese in as well...
One of the Recruiting analysts on Scout a couple of months ago said that UT is pushing Meline hard and he believes both he and Reese are top 10 on the Vol WR board. We were in Meline's final 3 with UGA and Oregon. Now with UGA pretty much full at WR, I think we have a good shot at him...

I think they want him as a DB.
Yes. The coaches spoke at length with his family and said that they thought he had a very bright future at WR so that's where he lined up.

As far as Meline goes, I'm not sure where we are recruiting him at. I was under the impression all along it was at Safety. I know he can play WR too and that would be an easier transition IMO. He is going to have to put on a lot of weight to play safety. Needs more weight regardless.
I read back through the Sims thread. Here's an interesting post :
He also won WR MVP at camp too. I'm fairly positive we want him as a wideout...
For a WR it is.
