Prater>Cobbs>Milton

we wind up with Ambles, Milton, and Prater. IMO

They wouldn't turn down Cobbs if he committed though, Gerald Jones and Robert Meachem is recruiting him hard to UT and it would be hard to break the Oklahoma WR pipeline.

Definitely wouldn't turn him down. just not sure i we're gonna take 4 WR this class. If Prater commits then that might scar him away. I'd be ecstatic if we did get them though.

If there's any chance of us ending up with Ambles, Milton, Prater, and Cobbs, I think we absolutely would take 4 WRs. JMO

As of today, I'd take Milton over Cobbs. We just got Ambles and him and Cobbs are pretty much the same player. We need a big WR like Milton who can dominate in the red zone. Milton's ceiling is through the roof. He's already 6-6 210, runs a 4.5 and benches over 300lbs. You don't see many WRs who are juniors in high school that can throw up 300lbs...

In the past couple of weeks, there have been some big knocks on Cobbs as well. Some say he hasn't got the speed to play WR and will be moved to DB in college...

I agree. Not sure they could get a Cobbs or a Prater like player to commit with Ambles, Milton, and Cobbs/Prater already committed.

I think we end up with 4 in this class. Ambles and Milton are almost for sure. It don't believe James Green is going to be able to qualify in 2009 so it looks like he is going to spend a year in JUCO, and be a part of 2010 class. We should pick him back up. The last guy will be someone that nobody is really talking about right now like Ted Meline, Joshua Reese, or Kenny Shaw...

So you don't think we get Prater or Cobbs?

Meline is a S and I can't see getting Shaw. Reese is a possibility. I think we land Milton and one other guy in addition to Ambles. Green will be coming in next year in all likelihood. If there is another WR that wants to come here, we will take 4.

I know he tried to tell teams he wanted to play S but I thought everybody was like" well, thats cool Ted, you'll be a WR here though."

I just threw Shaw's name out there cuz I know we are recruiting him as hard as anyone. But Jose could help draw Reese in as well...

One of the Recruiting analysts on Scout a couple of months ago said that UT is pushing Meline hard and he believes both he and Reese are top 10 on the Vol WR board. We were in Meline's final 3 with UGA and Oregon. Now with UGA pretty much full at WR, I think we have a good shot at him...

I forgot to throw Blake Sims name out there as well...

If, If we get, Ambles, Milton, and Prater. What QB would not want to throw to that trio, for 3 years or so.

Dang!

Then when you turn around to hand it off, BB is standing there.

Dang!
