So...

Vanth isn't dead is he? It looked like he was shot in the shoulder area and the way the were tending to him it looked like he wasn't dead just unconscious. His deputy, yeah he's dead. But I assume they wouldn't off Vanth, at least not this quickly

It's been very impressive.

Last year it was cool but the CGI face almost killed the moment. But this time, good lord that like a 1000% improvement. I was actually dreading it a bit when I realized he was appearing again but when I saw him in action I was thinking of all the possibilities.

There was a story about them hiring some YouTuber that redid it. Guess he made a difference.

Ultimately though they will have to recast if he ends up being a regular character on these shows.

There shouldn't be a Star Wars fan out there that won't totally and completely geek out to Episode 6.

Don't call yourself a fan if seeing Luke and Asoka together wasn't one of the best moments of Star Wars since... well, since Luke went all kinds of badass in Mando Season 2 finale.

Everyone, and I mean everyone has wondered if they ever met. Well, question answered.

And seeing Cad Bane in live action... I was on the edge of my couch speechless.

Filoni and Favreau have saved the entire franchise IMO.

“I’m an old friend of the family”

Hopefully we get to see their first meeting someday.

Clone Wars was kind of rocky starting out as it was intended for kids. But I think they (Lucasfilm) started seeing there was a serious adult base watching and started making the episodes a little more adult friendly. Honestly, I think there were probably more adults that watched than kids.

You can be a Star Wars fan and never watch them. But they really do help answer a lot of questions and really went a long way in expanding the universe.

My nerd friend from HS is a roving dictionary of Marvel and SW knowledge.

I am glad Mando opened up CW story, great characters.

wish they would get to Thrawn story

Clone Wars is probably the best Star Wars outside of the OT. It’s a lot to chew off though.

My wife has really enjoyed Mando and Boba but when I geek out about something like Cad Bane she’s totally lost. So last night we decided to a family watch-thru starting with Ep 1. She and the kids had seen it before but it’s been a long time for her. While watching my mind was wondering “should we try to watch CWs?” Seven seasons is a lot. I watched it with my kids when they were little so outside of a few characters they don’t really remember much. I may pick a handful of select episodes.

I know you didn't watch Rebels (I'm assuming) but I really want Lars Mikkelsen to do the character in live action. Dude was PERFECT.

Yeah, SSC was wondering why I went total nerd last night when the character popped up at the end. I had a complete and utter Leo Pointing Meme moment after I saw the outline of the hat in the distance.

She hadn't seen my complete and total Star Wars geek side come out like it did last night when Luke and Ahsoka met up after Mando left. I almost got emotional since it's something SW fans have been wondering about for YEARS since the end of Rebels. "Did Ahsoka and Luke ever meet?" They really set up Ahsoka to have her own series at this point and... I'm wondering when (how) Ezra is going to pop up in the Mando/Boba series. Because you KNOW it's going to happen if Filoni or Favreau have anything to do with it

Same thing for Rebels. I only made it to the second season previously, because I just couldn’t get into it and it seemed to kiddy. I finally finished the series over the Christmas holidays and really ended up enjoying it and the Dark Saber lore was kind of cool, especially now seeing it in Mando… Book of Boba Fett.

Kids and I had watched Prequels few months back.

Last saber fight was a bit rough, took a hiatus from SW. Till Grogu showed up in new Mando.Kids loved it

Now, A New Hope is now playing for the fam... I love this movie. mando is bringing SW to a while new generation.

I have to admit though, the scene where Luke was training Grogu and he's running through the bamboo forest, carrying him, all I could think about was...

"Run, run run, jump!
I can be your backpack while you run!
Swing from a hairy vine!
I can be your backpack while you climb"

Lmao!
