Imma go ahead and vent here if you don’t mind:

The Cleveland Browns are obviously the most incompetent franchise this decade. But the Pistons gotta be up there too. They haven’t tried to tank and yet haven’t won a playoff game in 10 years. They tried to build through free agency and they’ve signed three guys who all sucked. Dumbass Dumara gave Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva $100M over one summer. They outbid for Josh Smith by $20M. They gave up a first round pick to dump Ben Gordon to sign Josh Smith, then released him 18 months later. SVG has given Jon Leuer, Langston Galloway, Reggie Jackson, and Boban $160M combined. Instead of realizing they could get off these contracts in two years, they instead traded them and took a guy who hasn’t played 65 games in four years whose game is based on athleticism and will pay him $38M at 33. I hate everything

You know how players lose confidence? I wonder if Joe Dumars lost confidence after that pick. I mean he made the Rasheed Wallace trade but I wonder if he was so shook by the fact he cost his players an all star player that he lost confidence and couldn’t recover
