With his dad’s passing and his mom being sick, plus the sprained ankle, it’s just a lost year for him. I’m hoping he can focus in the off-season, drop 40 lbs, and start for us next year

These same question marks are why we even got him.. You don’t trade that arm for Mallex Smith for no reason

How does it look like they’re about to go on a run? Because they’re going to beat the Marlins? Didn’t they just get swept by Boston and have lost like 10 of their last 12?

Because crazy comebacks lead to confidence. If they come out tomorrow swinging the bat well and blow the marlins out giving the more confidence then watch out. They play the pirates and mets next if their bats get going they could easily pull off a 9 game winning streak.

I mean, sure, that’s possible and crazy things happen but we’re basically half way through the season and 3 months worth of data means a lot more than 9 games against shlt teams.

The Nats are a very talented team they’re good enough to let 9 games against bad teams propel them to a good second half.

Atlanta found an issue in his medical history, so they’re trying to offer him 4mil( about 1 mil under slot value), and the kid is trying to play hardball and get the full slot value. Atlanta wants the money so we can sign some of our later round guys. Zach Hess from LSU is one name I’ve seen mentioned that we want to use the extra money for
