He is a rental because there’s going to be 2 months left on his contract. You should not pay the asking price for 2 months.

As for FA - Other teams will offer him more. He’s only going to get worse at SS if that’s what he “demands” to play.

I’m not opposed to improving wherever. He flashes ability at times, but has been really bad at the plate. Manny isn’t a long term SS tho, and prolly shouldn’t be there now.

He's made 7 errors compared to Dansby's 5 .

His production at the plate makes up for a few errors.

I know he will probably be a Dodger, but I hope Atlanta at least makes an offer for him to consider.

Obviously gotta replace markakis and get a catcher but the only other piece of the lineup I’d consider touching is ender but that’s JMO

Funny thing is all the pitching we’ve based this entire rebuild around and the needs are pitching at every level on the ML roster.

They’re probably surprised it’s taken Wright a second to get in his groove

Also probably surprised Touki looks like he does now, so take the good with the bad

Its going to be interesting what happens with Markakis. I'd be ok giving a 1 year deal, but thats it
