I don’t care what top pitching prospect they have to give up to get Archer because 1) we’ve got a surplus we need to capitalize on 2) we’ve seen what happens (Wisler/Sims) when they wait too long.
What are the odds any of these guys turn out to be as good as Archer in his prime? Maybe one or two of them? Keep Touki, try to keep Pache and Riley because they are our only position player prospects, and everyone else is fair game.
Not really sure who you are referencing but not giving up 6 years of Wright or Soroka for 3 years of Archer.
They should’ve scooped him up when he was a free agent. Braves pitching has been in a situation where they need all they can get at pitching and if you’re going to sign Bautista you might as well give Harvey a chance with Braves pitching situation. He’s not worth trading for though.**** swirling about Matt Harvey interest from the Braves. Just no.

Eh, I wouldn’t ~want~ to do it either but I’m saying it shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. We all have a tendency to overvalue our own prospects. Not really sure who you are referencing but not giving up 6 years of Wright or Soroka for 3 years of Archer.
