I don’t think so. We certainly aren’t going to be playoff contenders but there will be a lot to look forward to this year. With what should be a passable offensive line, we have enough skill players to move the ball and defense is supposed to be what this staff does. I look forward to competitive games and signs of hope.

I do think we will be competitive and there will be signs of hope, big picture-wise, but while you’re down in the weeds of a season losing over and over again still sucks. If we don’t beat Florida than it’s going to feel pretty dark there for awhile even if the overall trend is uphill.
