Soroka is on the DL. Right now we need him for game 3 if we win the east. We have for two more years and he still can pitch at a high level, he’s been inconsistent. Nobody is giving up a bullpen piece for a starter with two years team control, they want prospects. He ain’t going anywhere.

Since the start of last year, 47 starts:

4.5 era
5.12 FIP
4.89 xFIP

That’s not inconsistent, thats bad unfortunately.

Apparently the "mother of all proposals" was a guy sitting behind the plate during a Royals game proposing to his girl, who was in a Royals shirt, while...wait for it...wearing an Angels shirt, who KC happened to be playing.
