I don’t know if significantly is the verbiage I’d roll with but…

It is an interesting thought rationale from a man who is carrying Arica’s water while IGNORING a certain SS with a WAR of 1.3!

Got up early, drove to the lake. Gotta stuff ready for the summer and I set up some meetings with contractors, etc.

Open the ground box to turn the water on, about half full of water from rain. Not unusual. Never love dunking my hand in there but is what it is

Until this morning. There is a snake in there. Totally harmless black snake

But I totally left the lid off and went to get breakfast hoping that issue resolves itself

Brief story:

My wife is terrified of snakes. Cannot do em. No way. We lived in the city for years, so, never really an issue.

3 days after we moved into our house: tons of rain. There were shoes and tools on the porch. Covered, but it was raining sideways.

I wake up at around 1 am. "Ah, shoot. Whatever, gonna go move that stuff."

Step out there. ~4 foot black snake laying over the shoes. Wife asleep.

As quietly as I could, I got a shovel, cornered it (they love that), scooped it up, marched down the steep backyard, and HUCKED it.

Her: "Where were you? You're soaked."

Me: "Ugh, stupid dog needed to go out, probably spooked by the storm is all."

She still does not know.

And this is the story of not having to sell our house the same week we moved in.

I’ve got a couple meetings this morning but if he’s still there in about an hour then I’m going the shovel route
