The Braves Thread

I doubt Baldwin gets a call up, but the bat seems ready. Still rocking a .900 OPS through 200 PA’s and a 36/32 BB/K. Really high EV’s consistently

Nico didn’t play in the scrimmage because of the stomach bug. Maybe I’m over thinking, but feel like he needs all the scrimmage reps he can get.

Also, I’ll say it again, who cares if we play the Angels??? Our division is basically going to be decided in the last 2 weeks of August because we don’t play a full series again Philly in September. Forget the Starting pitchers nonsense and go back to the old schedules
A hill I will die on.
If they are going to keep these schedules divisions don't make sense. Just seed teams 1-32

When expansion to 32 happens, it will be nice if MLB can make an adjustment where you play your divisional rivals the final ten games of the season or something of that note.

Are they downplaying how good he looks? I’ve kind of assumed so, but it’s hard to get more than a couple words out of the coaches about him.

The fact they didn't bring in a transfer and were fine with Gaston Moore and a true freshman 4* to be his backups show they have full belief and confidence in him.

Probably so if he'll just occasionally take a walk. It's a low bar right now.

The bigger issue is Arcia had two good games from the #5 spot and now Snit is putting him ahead of better hitters like Murphy and Laureano.
