Yeah they're supposed to, but when you allow more teams in the incentives change, so I wonder of that changes how they'd rank them.Of course, but the committee is supposed to rank all 25 and that was as if the next team couldn't play for example. But I really wonder what the committee would have done with 2022 Tennessee/Alabama for example when they ranked Bama ahead of us with the same record if there was a 12 team playoff (Both would have got in anyways but seeding does matter)
I'm not sure. That dynamic in 2022 was kind of the opposite of what we were discussing yesterday, which is that the committee seems to care who you beat more than who you lost to. I'm sure there was some benefit of the doubt there; if 2 teams are really close, give it to the one who has been more dominant over the preceding years.Of course, but the committee is supposed to rank all 25 and that was as if the next team couldn't play for example. From the outside, seems like typical yankees. It’s incredible watching those two assholes from last night try and get popular that Steve Bartman literally turned down hundreds of thousands of dollars in opportunities and refused to participate in a documentary because he truly felt bad about what he did
