Bullpen went to a big question mark real quick

Do you think Miami is better than us?
I think they're a good team that's taken care of business the last couple weeks.
In reality I don't think either are good enough to have a shot at the Natty.

If I gave you, last years final four, or any team in CFB this year name one natty team since 1998 that you think someone could beat. There's only one team that I could be convinced of that any team would have a shot against. That's Cams Auburn team.

This is in large part because it hasn't... happened yet. If Miami drops a silly one, then yes, it will be very easy to say the ~#10 team in 2024 wasn't as good as #1 teams over the past couple of decades.

But if a team goes fairly impressively through a conference title win, then 2 playoff wins, then wins it all... They'll look as good as one of the longer ago lsu teams, or the auburn team, etc.

Truly wonder how much of this is, "If 8 is hurt, we're ***ed."
That’s no doubt a factor, and I don’t scoff at that BUT QB runs help this offense go. Hooker didn’t run a lot, but he ran enough to be an effective weapon that had to be accounted for.

I disagree.
In 21 and 22 you knew UGA was that good.
Before that for years we knew Bama and Clemson were Elite.
2019 LSU proved they were good early on.
Urban with his Florida teams.
The Ohio State Natty teams.

The last 2 years we've hit Novemeber going is anybody actually good. I personally think that's bad for the sport

Cmon man.

That first Urban Florida team barely snuck by multiple opponents, including us.

OSU early 2000s was the biggest upset we've seen in a title game. OSU with Zeke was probably near a 10 point dog rolling out a 3rd string QB vs. Bama before beating them. They got schooled at home by Virginia Tech.

The sport is turning a little into college basketball. Last year was a little bit of an aberration with UConn clearly being the best team in the country all year. In any given season, there are like 15 college basketball teams who, if they won it all, wouldn't necessarily shock you. There aren't that many in football but it could be heading in that direction.

6 current 2024 FBS teams would be 7 point favorites against 2002 Ohio State and 2003 LSU

2022 Georgia? The same UGA that beat 6-7 Mizzou 26-22 October 1st? And then beat 7-5 UK 16-6?
