McVay was an OC for 3 years and highest ranked PPG was 10th before Goff

Ben Johnson was a TE coach with zero experience as an OC before Goff

He’s got small hands. He’s not mobile. He can’t make plays with his feet. I get it.

But he’s as accurate as any QB in the league. He throws over the middle of the field better than any QB in the league. He helped design the offense and he has full control at the line. I think of a JAG QB like Purdy or Tua or Cousins. Goff is definitely above that. Unless you think everyone after Mahomes/Allen/Jackson/Burrow/Herbert is a JAG
