The cancel culture is getting out of control

so again, i ask you are Washington, Jefferson, and Roosevelt "traitors" to America?
I was specifically talking about the Southern traitors, not the founding fathers. But you know that.

They were all flawed though. None were perfect. If someone has an issue with things they did I have no problem with it. None of them are saints.

So you are for trashing statues of the Founding Fathers and Presidents?

Cultural Revolution: New Lenin Statue Erected as Washington, Jefferson, and More Fall

A statue of Bolshevik communist despot Vladimir Lenin has been erected in Germany– as statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and other historic figures are torn down in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the wider West.

Lenin, born Vladimir Ulyanov, was the inaugural leader of what later became the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), or Soviet Union, after his Bolshevik faction failed to win a democratic majority in the All-Russian Constituent Assembly but came out on top in the brutal civil war which they plunged the Russian Empire into in 1917.

At least we're not the only country screwed up

The Masters name has nothing to do with slavery. Founder Bobby Jones hated the name Masters because he thought it was immodest. I actually like the original name - Augusta National Invitational Tournament,
I know it doesn’t. Most people not named Rob Parker know it has nothing to do with slavery. He’s stirring the pot. Pretty hilarious how he flaunts his Masters in Journalism from Columbia in his Bio.

Interesting belief system there. Factually and intellectually wrong, but interesting nonetheless.

I have no doubt that you associate race and violence or that you believe me wrong to have not done so.

We're ALL shocked Racist Ricky would hit the thumbs up button on a post implying there is.

Except Confederate soldiers were not compensated with federal pensions or for their injuries like union soldiers were. There was a recognized difference based on the side you took. Since my family was from upper E TN and fought for the union it was an important distinction

Yes, Confederate widows and children did receive pensions for their soldiers.

I actually have copies of my Great-great-grandmother’s U.S Government approved and paid pension application file for my Confederate Great-great-grandfather.

The last surviving Civil War veteran died in 1956 at the age of 109, according to the VA. The last Civil War widow died in 2008 at the age of 93. As of 2012, two children of Civil War Veterans were still receiving pension payments and the last one of those children died a few weeks ago.

And neither are you, which is the point that you can’t seem to grasp yet you and your ilk get to determine who is “righteous” enough to have a statue and who isn’t. This country and every other country in the World was founded by imperfect people. Trying to whitewash it, literally, because you think your sins aren’t nearly as bad as their’s is hypocritical.

Lol... literally nobody with a clue thinks this...
And be honest. When you hear anyone say the Masters, you think of slave masters in the South.

...so I guess now we have to change Masters of the Universe and Bassmasters. There’s no way to take this seriously.
