The cancel culture is getting out of control

There was the exact same door pull in every garage. There were and are no nooses in the nascar garages.
Security footage proves they’ve been there for years including at Wallace’s Home garage.

He's wanting it so badly to be a noose and a symbol of racism. That's the sad thing to me.

Some of the immediate casualties of the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis were television shows that did not portray police officers as serial killers. Even thoroughly woke police dramas like Law and Order: SVU, which basically was a serialization of Lifetime movies, were canceled rather than offend the outrage mob. Among the collateral damage were the long-running reality shows Cops and Live PD. Spoiler Alert for any SVU episode you didn’t watch: the man did it. If the man is a father who takes his kids to church or is a priest or pastor, then he is definitely a pedophile. The gay or lesbian is the hero. Trust me.

How Robin DiAngelo got rich peddling 'white fragility'

Robin-2018-scaled-736x580.jpg

Dr. Robin DiAngelo, the bestselling author of White Fragility, claims to believe in accountability. DiAngelo used to list the "racial justice" organizations she donates to as part of her extensive "accountability statement," including a monthly "land rent" paid to the Native American tribe that used to occupy Seattle.

But when the Washington Free Beacon began contacting the organizations she listed as recipients of her largesse, DiAngelo scrubbed the site, removing their names and the dates of her giving from the public domain—a version of the page remains available through the Internet Archive after briefly being unavailable due to what the site said were technical issues. The page was edited again as recently as Friday, when DiAngelo wrote she would begin donating 15 percent of her after-tax income, "in cash and in-kind donations," starting next month—suggesting she had not previously, as the page exhorts, given a percentage of her income large enough that she could "feel it."

This about-face is odd for a woman who has made her career demanding white people not respond defensively in hard conversations. DiAngelo vaulted to superstardom upon the 2018 publication of her book, White Fragility, which argues that all whites are racist and any rejection of that fact is only further evidence of it. To address racism, DiAngelo argues, requires the sort of anti-bias instruction she is selling.

Embattled ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ workplace under investigation by WarnerMedia

As if it weren’t already getting enough heat, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is now reportedly being investigated by WarnerMedia following a slew of allegations against the workplace.

Executives from Warner Bros. Television and show producer Telepictures distributed a memo to show staff last week which stated WarnerMedia’s employee relations group and a third-party firm would begin looking into the matter by interviewing former and current staff members, according to Variety,

While the third-party firm was not named, the internal investigation comes after allegations of insensitive and racist incidents surfaced earlier this month, followed by the subsequent “canceling” of DeGeneres, 62, and her show by the Twitter-verse. When reached by The Post for comment about cancellation rumors at that time, DeGeneres’ production company representatives said, “Telepictures can confirm it’s untrue.”

Conservative UNC Wilmington Professor Mike Adams was found dead in his home last Thursday after deputies from the New Hanover County sheriff’s office responded to a wellness check.

On Monday afternoon, the sheriff’s office announced that Adams’s death had been ruled a suicide:

Adams, who was a staunch defender of free speech, taught sociology and criminology at UNCW. He was forced into retirement a few weeks ago after liberal students and faculty members launched another campaign to have him fired after becoming offended by tweets he posted to his Twitter account they described as being “offensive” and “racist.”

That's unfortunate, sad that people won't allow opposing voices. Disagree all you want but if someone saying something you disagree with bothers you so much that you go after their personal life something's wrong with you.

Bill Maher Calls for ‘Pushback on Cancel Culture’

HBO’s Real Time host Bill Maher decried “cancel culture” on Friday’s show, telling his guests that “we need a pushback” on the movement.

Maher held a panel discussion with Bari Weiss, a former New York Times Opinion editor, and Thomas Chatterton Williams, a columnist for Harper’s Magazine. The pair discussed the open letter they, along with other progressive personalities — including author J.K. Rowling and feminist Gloria Steinem — signed, which warns that the “free exchange of information and ideas, the lifeblood of a liberal society, is daily becoming more constricted.”

“As a guy who did a show called Politically Incorrect and another called Real Time, thank you, because we need a pushback on cancel culture,” Maher said.

“What strikes me about it is the pushback is coming from liberals and almost everyone who signs this letter … is a liberal!” Maher exclaimed. “Bari, the fact that you — they call you a centrist or right-winger! I mean, if a hip, millennial, Jewish bisexual girl living in San Francisco is not a liberal … who is these days?”

Nolte: Oliver Stone Admits ‘Cancel F**g Culture’ Would Kill My Career Today

Three-time Oscar winner Oliver Stone admits that in today’s fascist cancel culture, “f I made any of my films, I don’t think I’d last. I’d be vilified.”

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jim Norton & Sam Roberts to promote his autobiography (which should arrive in the mail Monday), Stone added: “I mean, it’s just impossible. I would have had to step on so many sensitivities. You have to have some freedom to make a movie, unfortunately.

Well yes, in cancel culture no one can pass the purity test. The trick is to keep pointing fingers so no one takes the time to look at you.

I think I should probably be offended at that but I’m still trying to figure out if it was actually a diss on real females or a diss towards all the “chicks with sticks” and an interesting way to keep them from trying to get appointments for cervical cancer screenings.🤔🤷‍♀️

I wouldn’t be offended by any shade CNN were to throw my way. They’re the Clown News Network.
