Those articles just parrot already debunked ideas. Pretty sure every one claimed it criminalized handing out food or drinks. Violent and barbaric? Seriously? Are recently passed Georgia voting laws oppressive or justifiable?

What Georgia’s Voting Law Really Does
Voter Suppression
It's fascinating for me to watch people balk at and try and spin what should be obvious. Do you think these new laws are a coincidence to a deep red state turning blue?

States are turning blue because people are stupid, lazy and believe articles like the ones you linked without doing any research. Many blue states have more restrictive voting regs yet they aren't being single out. Wonder why that would be
A “theme” isn’t the truth. Luther got his ass handed to him yesterday by insisting the GA bill did something it didn’t."debunked", that's laughable. I'm not suggesting that each and every clutched pearl is the suppression tactic some may make it out to be but the overarching theme produced by the laws made by the right, are largely designed to hinder voters from the left.
Or do you think the this legislation was just a coincidence?
Which ones are actually anything more than a minute inconvenience for what should be an important and thoughtful act? Most I've seen being used were just eliminating special changes made to accommodate voting in a pandemic"debunked", that's laughable. Which ones? Ambiguity seems to be a very useful tool in this debate when it shouldn't be. Can people still drink water and vote at the same time or has that right been violently removed (as per your rolling stone link)?I suppose oppression, suppression and inconvenience are all subjective terms, more so when you include adjectives like minute, important and thoughtful. I also suspect they're less important to people who aren't the ones who have to deal with the "inconvenience." Intentional disenfranchisement by ones government (however "minute"), I suspect, can be a powerful tool to dissuade confidence in the system. Perhaps however, the blowback will empower those who feel oppressed to fight back.
Your just trying to keep Donald from getting to vote.@evillawyer and @Vol Main can speak for themselves, I'm not sure why you're bringing them up with me. Nonetheless, was any of the legislation designed to make voting easier or less burdensome for Americans?
Before I'm labeled a libtard supreme, I fully support having to produced government issued ID's to vote. Hell, if it were up to me, I'd make entry into a polling place a copy of a tax return. It still doesn't change the fact that the legislation is a knee jerk to make sure what happened in 2020 doesn't happen again in 2024.

Specifically, which ones suppress voting by Dems? The new voter laws respond to the continual pack of lies from Donald Trump and his followers alleging that he won the election he lost, that the 2020 election was stolen. That's the word he uses. Let me be clear; I present I.D. when I vote before being asked. I think everyone should. But having gone through the motor voter registration and vote by mail processes, I am satisfied that the process is sound. I.D. is definitely required to vote in Tennessee. I also believe that the purpose of new voting laws passed by Republican majority legislatures is to suppress voting by the Democratic opposition and to enable legislatures to overthrow future elections. Of course, the new laws vary from state to state. They are not all the same. Some are surely better than others.

So the laws respond to concerns which are hardly real. Voting fraud did not decide the 2020 Election. Let me be clear; I present I.D. before being asked when I vote at a polling place. I think everyone should. But having gone through the motor voter registration and vote by mail processes, I am satisfied that the both are sound. I know that I.D. is definitely required to vote in Tennessee. I also think that the purpose of new voting laws passed by Republican majority legislatures is to pander to Trump supporters whom he misled, suppress voting by the Democratic opposition, and to enable legislatures to overthrow future elections. Of course, the new laws vary from state to state. They are not all the same. Some are surely better than others.
You do realize that the BLUEST of all the news channels (MSNBC) has now come out and said that BIdden was lying about suppressive voting times don't you? You are supporting the very mis-information process that you hated so badly about Trump. Both political parties and all the news media are treating people like a bunch of chumps. This mis-information crap is going to spiral out of control and have people at each other's throats for false reasons."debunked", that's laughable. I'm not suggesting that each and every clutched pearl is the suppression tactic some may make it out to be but the overarching theme produced by the laws made by the right, are largely designed to hinder voters from the left.

Give me a break. You go long winded on how this will suppress votes but can't offer even a single example. But she, go google some articles, form an opinion and come back when you have something[QUOTE="utvolpj, Ah, the lunch rush. I understand
I did not say lunch rush. If you just want to be cute with silly insults, you'll have to do that without me. Not interested.
