Then why hasn't he played? Why are we going 4 guard instead of using Reese? Why is Q playing before Reese? Whys Campbell getting minutes before Reese?

He's practicing so it's not an injury.

IMO he's transferring and wants to use his redshirt this year, smart decision on his part.

Just explain why he isn't playing? If Reese could go out and prove me wrong id be elated. The games this year I seen him play in he wasn't impressive. He's had a year and some months now in the system and he couldn't beat out a freshman? That's what I don't get.

Maybe you should as Martin that question. He hasn't commented on it but all you 'stuffed egos' know just what's going on.

Sometimes it's just best to refrain from hitting "submit". You're on the basketball side enough to know that Reese has been getting reps at the four for the past few weeks/months. He's built his frame bigger and is working on his inside game (as I mentioned earlier, which lead to this discussion).

To be fair, Q got 13 minutes against Xavier. Against USC Upstate and the Citadel, Q got a combined 3 minutes. We're also only 3 games into the season, maybe Martin's still figuring out who his key bench players are. It's too early to tell if Reese is redshirting, we'll have a better picture in a couple more weeks.

Do players ever redshirt (in CBB) so they can become bigger and better all around? Or are redshirts usually used for transfers and injuries?

Nobody is calling anyone dumb or what have you. Nobody is claiming to be in the know but you damn for sure seem like you know what's going on. Answer my question why did he get beat out by a freshman when he's been apart of the system longer? It just seems odd to me. Martin doesn't seem like the type to play favorites. If that was the case I think he would have told Reese to seek other options last year. You can give me all these quotes and what not the fact is that he's been beat out by multiple players in practice where it matters.

I personally don't see why Q is playing over Reese but something tells me that in practice Reese isn't getting it done. If it is injury then I apologize and with draw my opinion but that's just what it seems like IMO.

And that's all I'm saying. Even still if he's knocking them down in practice he's must not be going to the post and guarding well. I could see him in some 4 guard situations though I guess.

Speculating is okay. it's the slurs like Lebron Reese or Shaq Reese or the normal Chris.. derogatories that are offensive.
I don't know what's going on , but it's damn sure that none of the the 'self made super analysts' on Volnation do either.
Right now, the kid's a VOL. Treat him like one until he isn't.

??? Yes Maymon does an excellent job of giving max effort and using his body to gather rebounds. That along with his leadership is why I said keep the starting lineup the same and that Maymon can still help this team win. Nowhere in my post did I say cut his minutes either, so I am confused why you felt led to correct me.

All I was saying is Moore can do things Maymon cannot. And playing above the rim sometimes is more than just rebounding.(like the blocks he can send to the second row)

Look man, you seem to be the only one that thinks I or anyone else who is not lauding Reese for his minimal contributions is hating on the kid. I get that you don't think it's funny, but that doesn't mean you can just shove words in my mouth or anyone else's. I stick up for UT bball as much as, if not more than, any other hardcore UT fan. So please stop with the accusations, and understand that no one is hating on Reese.

Maybe he had one stolen recently and it looks just like that one.

Now that I can definitely understand. The only problem I have is being accused of hating on Derek. Childish joking? Sure. Ill will towards Reese? Not in the least.

It seemed like you were supporting the notion of playing more 4 guard lineup, which would include Moore.

If that's not the case then my apologies.
