The Dallas Cowboys football circus thread

I'll always be a cowboys fan. I still remember the 3 Super Bowls of the 90s. I went many games in those years. Redskins fans will never experience that. Washington the Vandy of the NFCE

Lol, the vandy of the nfce?... Ok then, how'd it feel to get swept by the vandy of the nfce? And get use to it, cause as long as your moron if an owner is still running that team, this is what your gonna get... Lol.

Wait until RGIII has a Cam Newton like 2nd year. Most coaches (Rob Ryan excluded) will find ways to slow down the option attack.

Im sure they will, hope he doesnt have a sophomore slump, but if he does, and teams stop him, we always have cousins to go to.

Washington is still the little sister.

That said, you are correct about the Boys accomplish jack as long as Jerruh is running the show.

Rob Ryan fired. In 8 seasons as a defensive coordinator none of his teams finished witha winning record.

I don't know if I would call it great, and I would argue that it wasn't much of an improvement (if any) over his rookie year.

He dropped in most stat categories, but improved his interception from 17 to 12, but then doubled his fumbles from 5 to 10. Going from 35 TDs to 27 TDs is a pretty substantial drop as well...factor in that his completion % dropped 3 points, etc.

He had a long sophomore slump to start the year, and finished strong, but ESPN's subjective TQBR rates him lower in 2012 than his rookie year.

the dude was acting like Cam was completely ineffective this season. He wasn't.

I basically said he had a slump. Teams were better prepared for him. Just next year teams will be better prepared for the redskins option offense. But I guess they won't be running that. I'm hoping RGIII gets back to 100% and finds a way to stay healthy.

Dual threat QBs seem to all go through this...they hit the scene hard, then defenses adjust to their tendencies. Whether or not the QB can adjust to the Ds' adjustments is the real question. Vince Young couldn't...it appears Cam was making the right adjustments towards the end of the season.

Good Grief. I love Monte but JJ should recommend a solid retirement home, not hire him to run his defense.

Was that Brady Hoke sitting next to Jerry Jones?

My initial thought was Chris Christie. :)

Yea, they look really similar. a girl hanging out with us that was watching the Mich/ND game yesterday asked if it was Christie. I laughed but there is definitely a resemblance
