Garrett "coaching for his job" again. I feel like this is a total set up. Jerry gives him a new, inexperienced OC and a new QB coach and expects Garrett to win it all? I guess that would test the ability of Garrett to see if he really can coach. Heck guys like Saban have new coordinators almost every year. Seems like Belichick has a new DC every year.

I can almost bet Dallas HAS to make the NFC title game to get an extension. Anything short of that he’s done period!!!!

Why would take that paycut? And thankless position. As a former Cowboys QB, he knows the Dallas OC is always top 3 on the fans bitsch list.

Crazy theory of the day: Jerry and Zeke have already agreed to terms of a new deal. Jerry sent Zeke to Cabo so he could train without all the media and distractions. All the yammering by the Jones family to the media is just a bunch of nonsense to keep everyone in the media talking about the Cowboys.

If Zeke has agreed to a deal in secret why continue to hold out??? How much is he wanting? 4 yrs 60 million?? Hell Dak wants 40 million a YEAR!!! Give me a freaking BREAK!!!

the NBA started this crap with all the FA publicity, so so players getting huge deals

Qbs have leverage though. Some of it is probably negotiation tactics, but teams tend to lock down competent qbs. And honestly that's all Dak feels like at best. Competent. Not great. Jerry will overpay him probably.
