The Dallas Cowboys football circus thread

Didn't he play half a game with a fractured leg or something?
Walt Garrison? From wiki

In 1970, with the arrival of rookie Duane Thomas, he tallied 126 carries for 507 yards and 3 touchdowns. His style of play and perceived ability to play hurt brought him recognition in Cowboys lore, which included playing the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers with a cracked collarbone and a serious ankle injury, but still managing to record 17 carries for 71 yards, 3 receptions for 51 yards and one touchdown.[12] It was reported in the media, that the trainers needed 36 yards of tape to get him ready to play in Super Bowl V.

20 points againts probably the worst secondary in the NFL is sad. Dak should have been able to throw for 350 with 3 TDs easily. Why did you trade for Cooks if you aren't throwing downfield? Speed is useless otherwise.

Chargers are a good pass defense. 9th in the league actually. And Cooks isn't what he once was. There's a reason he's been traded a gazillion times.

A win is a win...off week will be nice for them...Martin and the center can heal up injuries...look for Jerry to get impact player at WR or TE.

Could we possibly see DaVante Adams wearing the star on helmet this season@butchna
If we can get Devante for a first and 3rd or 4th....do it.

I'd also love to see Derrick Henry go to the Cowboys. TP isn't really a 3 down back and Henry would help immensely with our RedZone struggles.

Cowboys should wear their navy jerseys at home more. They're like the LSU Purple jerseys of the NFL; they are a great look but you hardly ever see them.

@knoxvol52 , do you Cowboys fans not recognize the complete nonexistence of any semblance of a running game as an issue? Tony Pollard is supposedly their starting running back, but they don't even pretend to try to establish the running game this year. In my opinion, they have no shot in hell of advancing past the first round of the playoffs if they don't seriously improve their running game between now and then.

I'm not blind , I can see run game sucks...

Sorry, I added a late edit as you were making your post. It's just astounding to me. Their running game has always been a strength, and it is an absolute joke this year. I'm also a little bitter about it, as I burned a high FF draft pick on Pollard.

...and sorry. Re-reading my initial post, I see that the tone was more pointed than what I truly meant to convey.
