I think I predicted an 8,000 bottom on here about 3 weeks ago. Eh, all that means is its going to take years to get back to 14,000. Which maybe it should. Still, if you are retiring in the next five years and watched your 401k lose 40% of its value, small consolation.

I recently visited Mexico and Cemex was all over the place. Got me really thinking and wanting to buy it.

It blows my mind how Mr. Pandit can cut this many jobs and cut cost and the stock still goes down, WTH gives? Maybe the investors want him to cut more expenses than what he did. Im starting to wonder if a merge wont be comming soon, who knows...

people are shorting financials like crazy so i'm not sure it going down means much. pandit isn't a bad manager, but i don't think there are 50K of jobs they can really cut. a merger doesn't make much sense to me.
