I fully agree. Tatum is not a four, but would be much better in the lineup than Pearl. He tries and plays hard, just isn't capable of playing at this level. I worry about the Georgia game. They are playing as well as anyone now, despite their loses. They are going to upset someone, just hope it isn't us.

Saying a team that has lost three straight games is playing as well as anyone is crazy. UGA sucks.

Poll votes are taken and released every 24 hours? When did that happen?

The polls came out Monday afternoon and Tennessee dropped Tuesday evening. I'm sure it was enjoyable to hold that top spot for the rest of the week while getting criticized by the media.

One bad loss and they've won 7 in a row since then, taking down 3 good teams in that stretch.

Vs UGA, will McBee and McPhee both show up in the same place at the same time and prove that they are not the same fan favorite white 3 point specialist?

TV Teddy Valentine has a tendency to try and get himself lots of airtime, at the expense of actually officiating. I can't imagine that anyone thinks he's even a decent official.

Totally agree, if it has been a while since he has been on tv he will call someone for walking or for a foul that they didn't commit. I was encouraged because he missed a couple in our favor against Alabama.

Shouldn't you have to be better than 4th on the team to be considered a "specialist" at anything?

On. The. Money.

TV loves having impromptu meetings with the coaches too.

Busted. He's a specialist in the sense that it's his primary discernible skill. As great as the Kansas shot was, if there's an open look for a game-winning buzzer beater, I'd rather have Hopson, Tatum, or Chism take the shot.

come on guys. everyone knows that all good teams have a guy that never misses a big shot.

but seriously...i think chism would be the best bet for a last shot 3. mcbee 2nd. hopson and tatum have very inconsistent strokes.

Your obsession with Wayne's one missed game winner is a little weird.
Not really following the whole thread, but go back and look at Chism shoot that ball at the end of the Purdue game. That was the definition of "choke." He was entirely unsure of himself and his shot.

I love what Chism has done recently, but a game winning 3 goes to McBee at this point. Nothing to lose and a shooter's mentality. He has the drive and the fearlessness, just not the talent. Then again, neither did Lofton (and that is not a direct comparison, so don't start that crap).

For those wondering, Hopson neither has "that" type of drive or the ability to stand up for the high physical confrontation that would be required for that type of shot.
