What an embarrassing display of playing a baseball game. Chalk the lost up to a bad flight schedule across country to the west coast. The Braves team didn't arrive to their destination until late early morning around 3-6 am PT. I'm sure they were worn out from not getting plenty of rest & having their body not adjusting to the time difference.
That's my story & I'm sticking to it. We'll see how they do in today's game tonight.

Went back and looked and Soroka actually looked good for his first game back in the majors. He had one bad inning in the 5th but before that he had faced only 15 batters thru 4 innings. He was going to have to be perfect for us to win though. 2 runs isn’t enough to rely on in today’s game.

It’s all good! Stir the roster, it’s almost required when pulling in a huge amount of talent as well as some kids getting recruited over. The price to be paid for putting the best nine available on the field. May even get worse the next two or three years with the high rated classes incoming.

Spent alotta time in the NOLA area after I met my wife in the mid eighties. Made a Zephyrs (Babycakes) game or two. Also got to attend the opening game of the New Orleans Hornets (Pelicans). Looking back, must have been an era of change.
