We were on a lease in Texas that followed special rules from the DNR. Texas calls it an MLD III. We had strict rules that we could only harvest 5 year old deer or older. They allowed us to hunt a longer season. And would allow us to shoot smaller deer if the herd needed thinning.

We had to take a lot of measurements, weight, pictures and jaw bones IMG_0548.jpgto give to the DNR. They used the data to adjust hunting regulations. The largest harvested deer that I saw as 154" shot the same day as my sons.

I won't shoot anything here under 150" and 5 years old. We have a neighbor that hunts his land, and another neighbor that has 88 acres that doesn't hunt. I just try to out feed them. The deer use my property as their bedding area and safe refuge.

Field dressed, ours were approximately 145 lbs. That's approximately 220 on the hoof. Texas deer are not big bodied.

The big 10 point in Ohio is more like 240-260. He's a toad.

Giants are going to be one of the worst teams in football for the foreseeable future. They screwed themselves over by resigning Daniel Jones. The Giants have always been known as the team in New York to make all the good roster moves compared to the Jets. But the Giants have acted a lot like the Jets since Eli retired.

I made fun of the cardinals for throwing for only 58 yards last week, and how many did the falcons throw for today? How about 70!!! 🤣 and they somehow only lost by 2?
