If they don’t win 3 over the next 8-10 years then it will be a bust. If you have nearly $2B tied up between 5 players and aren’t winning every other year then it’s a failure imo.

Just as I suspected. You can’t tell me that the two best Japanese players don’t want to be on the same team. They probably conjured this entire thing up themselves and the Dodgers didn’t really even have to do anything. A lot like the Miami Heat with Wade, Bosh, and LeBron. It was player driven.
