Yeah, seems like every year I read bowl predictions during the year and there are lots of enticing matchups. Then it gets to the real lineup and it’s a snooze fest. They gotta figure that out.

I'm so grateful I don't live there having to pay outrageous ticket prices for a game.
Next season I wonder how much one ticket for a game w/another team will be?
Plus your popcorn, hot dogs and a coke for a family. Beer will be $20 each or more.
There's no fun anymore having to take out loans to pay for gas & a baseball ticket in LA.

The only reason they are able to do this is because they conned Ohtani into deferring his salary so it is spread out and now they can buy whoever else they want. That should be outlawed in today’s game. You signed a contract for a set amount of years and that’s the time period for which you should get paid. It’s not really a 10 year $700M deal. It’s really a 20 year deal and he’s only getting paid $2M/yr the first 10 years and then $68M/yr the last 10 yrs. They will have to pay the piper at some point but nobody cares as long as they win 6 or 8 World Series over the next 10 years.

And you really believed the top Japanese prospect was going to choose anywhere else other than the place that just signed the best player on the planet who also happens to be Japanese? Everyone knows New York media pushes the narrative that every top prospect is theirs like they are owed it due to their history. They haven’t won a championship in over a decade and they have a lame duck coach. No way in heck I’m going there. They aren’t really serious about winning.

If George were still alive then these guys would have been in pinstripes but ever since he passed ownership just isn’t the same. They are no longer a threat. The Dodgers are the new Yankees except they have better weather and prettier women.

Passan stated they done nothing illegal and is shocked other teams don't do it...
