Dan Hurley says he is using it to his advantage. He says that because now players are getting paid he can treat them like professionals and coach them harder. UConn isn’t that much more talented than everyone else. They all just buy in and play great team basketball. It’s exactly what Jay Wright did at Villanova.

@MAD it looks like the Red Wings are making a push to make the playoffs to end their drought. I remember growing up they were the team to watch and made the playoffs literally EVERY season. It’s sad what the team has become but it’s exciting for them to be back in the playoff hunt. If they don’t make it this season it would be the longest playoff drought in their history. I’m hoping they make it in and make some noise.

My goodness!!! 17-3 in the T5th. Florida was the most overrated team coming into this season. They were ranked so highly just like we were after our historic season but at least we made it back to the CWS last year. If Florida keeps traveling down this path they may not even make the freaking tournament 😂

Man those wings teams were fun! Stevie Yzerman, Sergei Fedorov, Chris Osgood, Paul Coffey, Konstantinov...
Those guys played a big part in me starting to pay attention to hockey.

The game has definitely changed since she and Pat were dominant. I thought she might go out with a "this is my last year" and the fanfare that comes with it, but my guess is she doesn't want to be jet setting across the country for games. Can't blame her. Enjoy retirement, Coach!

Geno is next year. She didn’t want to get swept up in that. Went out with PAC 12 as well. Hard to blame her.
