Braves still have the best record in baseball somehow even with Acuña and Olson having career-worst seasons and Strider out for the year. Even Riley is having his worst year as a full-time player. Those three combined to hit 132 home runs last year but are on pace to only hit 34 as a trio this year. I’m sorry but that’s just flat out unacceptable and if I were Snitker I would probably bench all of them to show them how serious I am. It’s nothing short of miraculous they are leading the pack at the moment. We should probably be a .500 ball club with all those things going on but we are fortunate to have a strong roster. Even the pitching is doing better than expected, only allowing the 5th fewest home runs so far. And the defense has the best fielding percentage in the league. Hopefully the three guys that are playing like benchwarmers get their heads out of their arse because they are letting their teammates down this season.

Shouldn't worry about Acuna and Olson hitting will arrive.

The pitching staff is doing well right now for you guys but just like my guy Kershaw, Chris Sale always has a long stint on IL.

Need to trade for a #1 Starter and let go of some of those prospects they're sitting on.

I’ve been asking for them to go after a #1 starter for years but they never listen. They would prefer to pay someone like a washed up Cole Hamels $18M for 3 innings of work or Dallas Keuchel $21M for 19 games. And then we never want to call up the young guys from the minors whenever they have shown they are ready. Their pitching decisions always baffle me.

Yup. It's here we go on a series of anti trust lawsuits, plus the NCAA is under a long, thorough and ongoing investigation by the Government Accounting Office (GAO) for essentially not doing much accounting. In 2022 the NCAA would have us believe their total revenue is just over $5 billion per year. So, someone is pocketing a whole bunch of money and finally the GAO is tracking all the money that's not been reported by the NCAA for years and years.

I remember watching that game live. One of the best regular season NFL games I ever witnessed. If I recall correctly, the game ended on a Tony Ohno interception and Broncos field goal after dem boyz took the lead about halfway through the 4Q. One of the best QB battles until that interception. Just goes to show that your QB almost always had to play a perfect game in order to beat Peyton and even then you probably still end up losing.
