Gotta love it whenever kids haven’t even played a down in the NFL but think they are hot 💩. His father was a great receiver due to having the best quarterback of all-time but he is a lousy agent and not setting his son up for success.

Chuck Norris didn’t lose his virginity. Virginity lost to Chuck Norris.
Chuck Norris doesn’t wear a watch. He decides what time it is.
You feeling Okay today? You having a man crush on Chuck today?

With the Title IX scholarship rule possibly going away you never know 🤷‍♂️
I like the possibility of scholarships for baseball!

But I think gymnastics would be an expensive addition (even a waste of money) without merit. Isn't gymnastics unique in only taking players who have already proven not to have made it to the next level (the Olympics) rather than people competing to make there, like in baseball, basketball, etc.?

Also, if I may say, I don't want to see Tennessee athletes participate in the thot-ish photo craze that a lot of these kids plaster all over the internet for money.

I'd rather have our money go to the teams we already have. Would you want to add it if it were going to come out of the baseball budget?

(Sorry to be cantankerous, but I don't want money we could use in other sports going for this.) LV basketball, for example, on the womens side.

Personally, I don’t think gymnastics adds any value to Tennessee. We are good with the sports we have now and are excelling in pretty much all of them. I just think with the amount of money that is about to be rolling in that you can never say never.

Also, if $21M is the agreed upon limit for schools to spend then wouldn’t you want to keep your sports to a minimum so you can spread the wealth? My biggest fear with all of this is that we are going to see some big time schools cutting sports that do not generate revenue. Going to suck for those kids.

Would rather watch gymnastics than Rowing.

I understand. But I think it's a bad idea. Also, no money is rolling in from gymnastics. From what I hear gymnastics is a money pit.

I fear it would just be a new group and lobby siphoning off funds that could go to the teams we already have and complaining that other teams got more or whatever.

I want baseball to be a big winner in the change.

Also, I don't want football to be hurt. Supposedly they might eliminate walk-ons for football and significantly reduce roster sizes. I'm still trying to figure out how big a difference that will make. Idk. We were so depleted at DB in '22 that we had a walk-on playing in the 4th quarter when we beat Bama. Also I know of cases where we've been able to take a player by means of NIL sufficient to cover tuition.

I've mostly been concerned this whole time about the NCAA figuring out ways to re-introduce caps and limits. That's music to the ears of well-known mass cheaters like Bama, Georgia, Michigan, etc., who will be able to go back to their bag games wholesale. The NCAA is corrupt and always permits these teams to cheat with impunity. Meanwhile the NCAA will target rivals of the favorites.

I'm a rare guy who likes this so-called "wild west," but the last thing I want to do is start up talk about that! It's very divisive.
